Our Impact

Powering African Agric Value Chain MSMEs

Our Impact Agenda clearly demonstrates our passion and consistent efforts in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We define our success by the impact we have created in the agricultural value chain ecosystem and prosperity of MSMEs;

  • More than 80% of women, youth and persons with disabilities have been included in our ecosystem
  • Thousands of jobs have been created through support to excluded MSMEs in our value chain
  • Financial literacy leading to financial knowledge and positive changes in attitudes, motivation and planned behavior

SokoHela is playing a role in contributing to SDGs

No poverty

Eradicating poverty in all its forms remains one of the greatest challenges facing humanity. SokoHela is responding to this pressing issue by empowering MSMEs to increase their income in order to live above the poverty line.

Decent work and economic growth

SokoHela consistently powers MSMEs with finance, technological innovation and advisory support to achieve higher levels of business growth and decent job creation.

Reduced inequalities

We are closing up the widening disparities causing inequality by empowering businesspeople who are low income earners and promoting economic inclusion for them regardless of sex, ethnicity or physical disabilities.

SokoHela

SokoHela makes it easier for micro and small businesses (fruit vendors, groceries, small fast-food joints, cereals shops and other food vendors) to get short term financing that is paramount in overcoming short term struggles and enabling long term growth.
